Another download site....
Well, this seems to be a never ending story as my web host won't let me store the files here as they are so popular. So I will have to find another long term solution.....
(If you know of one or own one your self, please let me know)
Here is the new download site: Stringer 1.2 12,5 MB
(By the way... I am still working on a new version... ;o)

New download site for Stringer 1.2
I have paid the penalty of popularity.... ;o)
My webhost told me that my VST:s were downloaded far to much.... to much bandwidth just for my files. OK, nobody uses them anymore, was my first thought!
Well, now I know what spam is. Lots of people sent me emails about where to download these files, so I decided to make them available on a regular download site and see how that works.
Let me know if you have any problems
Stringer seems to be the plug most i demand so I start with that one.
You can download it here:
Stringer 1.2 12,5 MB
Let me know if you enjoy STRINGER.
regards/Bengt

FalkeLab is back in business!
As you all have noticed, there has been total silence in this site, and I have received many emails about it. Mostly very kind and concerned emails asking about the reason for this.
Thanks for those! And yes I have been away from all this for a couple of months. The reason is that I have been sick for a couple of years now and suddenly got worse this spring..... I had to stop one kind of treatment but a new biological medication slowly got me back in business. Then I was on vacation to southern europe for a month, but now I am back in the saddle and hope to catch up what I have missed. Dont hesitate to email me if you have any questions about this.
When I looked at the download statistic during my absence I was blown away by the interest in my small creations. That really inspired me.... so be prepared for some interesting new stuff!

Download statistics in aug 2004
Well, it has been over six months now since I published my first VST and it's time to sum it up....
Over 12000 people has downloaded Stringer and nearly 4000 has downloaded Puff&Pys. These are huge numbers and far more than I ever expected!
I really feel encouraged to move on and do something useful to all of you musicians out there....

Mistral, another tune from the SAS compilation Mosaik
Here is another tune from the SAS#6 Mosaik album (Mosaic is spelled Mosaik in Swedish).
This tune is called Mistral after the famous storm in southern France. This tune is even more strange and is some kind of mixture of rather different styles... ambient meets disco, well you have to decide for yourself if you dare ;o)
I must warn you that this tune is also really long, 15 min encoded at a bitrate of 128, that makes a 16 MB file.
However the creation is done in the same way as Atlas Routier. People from Sweden and Norway put together fragments of sound given the tempo, key and some other parameters. Most of of the pieces are from from old analogue gear. When I received all the pieces I combined them together and produced the tracks....

Massif de Maures
Well, I have decided to make some of my non-commercial songs public and would very much like your comments on this "strange" tune....
This song is from the compilation album Odyssey of Analogy that is no. 5 in a row of collaboration albums from SAS (Svenska AnalogSympatisörer).
It is a two record CD-kit, one called The Facts and is more "electro". The other CD is called The Tales and contain more melodic content.

Massif de Maures
I must point out that it is made in a dark moment in my life ;o) as I guess you can hear.

Up next?
Over 5000 people have downloaded version 1.1 of Stringer. I am so surprised over this interest in my humble plugs........ really encouraged to move forward and make something even more useful.
But first...... since the swedish team up here in the snowy north began collaboration (that is Jorgen aka nBeat and me Bengt aka azure) we first have to fix the rest of the old releases before we turn our attention to the new stuff:
1. Puff & Pys will become ElectroDrum with a new look, new presets and even better sound (in 1 week from now)
2. Arparatus will at last go from betaversion to version 1.1 with a new GUI and some important enhancements in functionality (in 2 weeks from now)
Then there will be a some new exiting stuff....
